SEO blog posts optimization

As you already might know it’s very essential to rank better and higher to get your blog well optimized and noticed. There are numerous articles on search engine optimization (SEO) as it is a popular topic that bloggers tend to explore and learn more about. It is important to know how to optimize your blog posts from the very start, but at the same time return to your old articles and if you haven’t then start re-optimizing them as well . This article will present you some tips that will help you optimize posts for search engines.

1) Identifying posts that are in need of better optimization for SEO

For finding out those kind of articles that need optimization you can check your Google Analytics or Statcounter accounts. That’s how you can find which posts are having a higher impact on your audience, are much popular and bring traffic from search engines to your blog. That’s why it’s important to do an in depth research of the competition out there before writing a blog post. So if it’s not working for you yet and it doesn’t seem to work just keep working towards achieving the main purpose.

Keep in mind that if a post brings you some huge traffic from Google, optimizing that blog post can double or even triple that amount of traffic just by applying some SEO tactics.

2) Analyze your competition

From time to time, it is good to keep track of what your competitors are doing. Check your competitors posts that make them so successful, studying those posts you will understand what different they offer from what you have. Sometimes you lack inspiration and no matter how dedicated you are to the topic you write on, it’s still hard to find the right words or ideas for a new article. Especially this is the problem that bloggers with a schedule to follow face often. See what others are writing, and make up something of your own from all the information out there. For doing that some basic skills are needed, in order find out more about what i mean read following article i wrote recently:

A good tool that i recommend you to use in order to analyze keywords competition  is MarketSamurai. It offers you some accurate statistics on the competition that a specific keyword has.

3) On Page Optimization

Applying those 2 advices above can make you understand where were you wrong and how to improve your posts from here on. For instance, if your keywords are not included in “title tags” or “header tags” you will have to start introducing them from now on. If your keyword is not included in URL that’s another aspect to pay attention to as well.

Another good thing is to mark or underline your keywords so they get revealed when reading your posts.  If you want to optimize your page for a specific keyword you will have to target that keyword in key location like (title, heading, URL).  It is not necessary to spam your page with that specific keyword, using it only in those locations will make the difference a lot higher.  It is estimated that a keyword should not appear in a post content more than 5-6 times for a article about 400-500 words.

In the end don’t forget to write, as content is the KING and that’s true. Try to pay attention to your posts from time to time and also don’t forget to keep writing for your readers as that’s what they expect from you.

I wish you all the best in what you do and may the odds be ever in your favor!   :-)
